Real Estate Institute of Western Australia (REIWA) launches texting service for homebuyers
The Real Estate Institute of Western Australia has today launched an innovative new phone texting service and mobile phone web site for members and their customers.
The new service enables agents to deliver listings to mobile devices and to connect with homebuyers quickly and efficiently.
REIWA President Rob Druitt said homebuyers can now take an on-demand viewing of a property just by using their phone and without leaving their car.
“Imagine parking out the front of a property, looking at the ‘For Sale’ sign and then being able to text a request to get that property’s information and internal pictures sent directly to your phone right away.
“From today, West Australian property buyers can do this using the new REIWA MOBILE service.
“The REIWA MOBILE number can appear on For Sale signs, online listings or in newsprint advertisements,†Mr Druitt said.
Mr Druitt said this service to homebuyers positioned participating REIWA agents at the cutting edge of the technology revolution.
“The REIWA MOBILE offering also allows agents to increase the effectiveness of their traditional advertising and generate cost savings, by being able to determine where their leads and buyers are actually coming from,†Mr Druitt said.
